How Do I Sign Up for the Essential Skills Course?

  1. From the "Essential Review Courses" page, click the "Learn More" button under the course title you wish to enroll into.
  2. Click the "Add to Cart" button. The course will be placed into your shopping cart. Click the "Go To Checkout" button to proceed.
  3. As part of the checkout process, you'll be asked to create an Account. [NOTE: Your account information is confidential. We do not share user information with any outside parties.]
    Type your First name, Last name, email, and password of your choice into the Account fields. [NOTE: You can leave the "Student ID" field blank.]
    Next, you'll be asked to enter a Billing address. Click the "Continue to Payment" button to proceed.
    [NOTE: Since the price is $0.00, you will not be asked to enter any credit card information.]
  4. After you have completed your purchase, you will need to Assign the course to your student. Click the "go to Your Account" link on the purchase confirmation page.
    Next, click the "Assign and Start" link next to your course title.
    Click the "New Account" tab to assign the course to a student.
    You will need to enter an email address for your student (this can be a made-up email address if your student does not have a personal email). This email address will be the username they login with. Next, type their first name, last name, and a password of your choice, and then click "Save".
    Next, click the "Go to Course" link to start your course.
    To log back in to your course, click the small account icon at the top right of the Thinkwell Homeschool homepage.
